She wore a long blush-pink lace dress, its soft color and delicate texture standing out beautifully against the deep greens of the landscape. As she walked beneath the trees and along the hillside steps, the fabric moved gently around her, adding a little romance to every frame.

And beneath all of the anticipation, there is often a quieter realization that life as she knows it is about to change forever. We made space for portraits of her alone—standing beneath the oak branches, cradling her belly with both hands, and pausing in the warm spring light.
