Lifestyle Newborn Session

I'm so excited to capture your growing family! These sessions are slow-paced and meant to be moment driven. My goal is to capture your family as it is, in the best environment of all, HOME. Home is more than just a shelter, it's where we love, it's where we feel, it's where we can be ourselves and it's where life happens. Lifestyle newborn photography typically takes places when your baby is between 5-15 days old. It's all about capturing adoring parents and siblings, the beautiful nursery you planned, the littlest details from cheeks to toes, and of course lots of snuggles and kisses. Don't worry if your home isn't "picture-perfect". My job is to find a simple spot in your home or yard to create lasting impressions of the people that make your house a home.

After a short tour of your home to determine exact lighting and locations, our session typically begins around 10:00 am . Please make sure baby is feed and changed upon arrival and we'll move at momma and baby's pace, taking any breaks as necessary. Documenting your life at home is my greatest passion. Too often we get caught up in living life, we forget to see the magic in the mundane. Children grow too quickly and just for one brief moment in time, I get to capture and delay the inevitable. Children never stop growing. One minute you are cradling them in your arms and before you know it, you are sending them off to school. I love to document all of those early emotions and connections that are too easily forgotten. My hope for you is that each photograph from our session takes you back to a sacred moment in time and space. Every image will transport you back to that moment so you can recall in perfect detail: those tiny precious hands and feet, the sweet perfect wrinkles, adoring eyes, perfect button nose, and delicate eyelashes. Every new life is a miracle and blessing. Together, just for a moment, we can pause time. Thank you for letting me capture your legacy!
